The California Mapping Coordinating Committee (CMCC) is an ad-hoc group of Geographic Information Systems Professionals in California State Government. Membership is open to any State of California employee who has an interest in geographic information systems. We use this group as a technical and coordinating group to better understand State GIS needs and directions.

The CMCC will deal with issues arising in the context of framework GIS data, central GIS libraries, collaborative purchasing and advise the Geographic Information Officer on State GIS direction and Strategy.
